Application of MTL830 Series Multi channel Temperature Converter in Ethylene Plant

In a petrochemical ethylene expansion project, there are five cracking and conversion furnaces in the ethylene unit, each with 224 radiation tubes arranged in eight channels, with 28 radiation tubes in each channel. The temperature of each radiation tube is measured by a thermocouple, so a total of 1120 thermocouples were used for the five cracking and conversion furnaces. If constructed in a traditional way, it requires a lot of cables and safety barriers, as well as occupying a lot of space in the control room and using a lot of DCS cards. Due to the relatively concentrated distribution of these thermocouples, the MTL830 series multi-channel temperature converter was adopted, which can save 50% of installation costs. In addition, it can also save DCS conversion cards and cabinet space, achieving good results in device construction.
