As per title, to comply with the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542, we will change product specifications
as described below.
We would appreciate your understanding and cooperation with this matter.
■Affected Products:
AC Servo Motor Optional part "Battery for Absolute Encoder"
(Part number): DV0P2990
■Description of the Change:
We will add the CE mark to the battery body, packaging/product nameplates, instructions, etc. where
necessary.
■Reason for Change:
To comply with the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542.
After August 18, 2024, when batteries are placed on the market in the European Union, they must be
labeled with the CE mark, even if they are embedded in equipment.
■Change schedule:
Shipping of new specifications (CE marked products) is scheduled to start from September 1, 2024.
*Depending on the supply status from battery supplier and our order status, there might be some delays
in the schedule.
■About discontinued products:
DV0P2060 (without CE mark) is also subject to the EU Battery Regulation (EU) 2023/1542 and cannot be
placed on the market in the European Union after August 18, 2024, even if it is in stock or embedded in
equipment on the market.
